Would you like a Jelly Baby?

I have a confession to make. Actually several.
First, I've only seen a few episodes of Doctor Who with Tom Baker.
Second, I have no idea what a jelly baby is.
and finally, I think that while I was drawing this, I might have accidentally developed a crush on this man.

My American Sign Language class was assigned to draw an "odd-looking person" to describe to a classmate as part of an activity the next day. I spent six hours drawing this, instead of doodling a person with different-sized ears and one skinny arm and moving on the the important homework.
